You Get A Lot Done With No Internet

In my previous post I gave a short blog update because of our lack of internet service. Well, the situation hasn’t improved, in fact, as I am typing this, our service could go out at any moment. Which really stinks when your in the middle of something important, such as paying a bill, or buying those super cute oxford pumps online.

But there is one good thing about not having any internet for hours, even days on end. I found that I got a lot of shop projects started and many finished. Never realized what a distraction the world wide web could be! So this is what I have accomplished thus far….

Two new watercolors:

Original Swamp Shack Watercolor Painting

Original Fairy Tale Cottage Watercolor Painting

A miniature Tudor (almost completed; still needs landscaping)….

And I started two tiny glass dome pendants….

I don’t even fully disconnect when on vacation, so this lack of reliable internet is beyond annoying. I am having a seriously hard time adjusting.

How about you? Have you ever been without internet for a long period of time? Did you think it was the best thing ever, or did you feel like pulling your hair out, and it seemed like your world was crashing down around you, and you thought you were in the dark ages? 😉
